Back to work - Career 2.0

Back to work - Career 2.0

In the last 15 months, my entire world has revolved around you. From the moment you were growing inside me for 9 months to the 6 months since you entered this world, you've been my everything. #Motherhood #UnconditionalLove

Returning to the office alone has been causing me immense distress lately. The mere thought of being away from my little one fills me with anxiety and even gives me nightmares. Despite knowing that my family will be there to care for her, my heart aches. Throughout the past 15 months, she has never been away from me for more than an hour, and now I have to face 8 to 10 hours without my precious Kiara. I can't fathom how we will both manage during this time apart. During my pregnancy, she was always by my side, which made me feel secure and content. However, leaving her behind now is an incredibly challenging task. My maternity break has come to an end, and it's time for me to gather myself and embrace this new and important chapter of my life.

As I prepare to return to work, I'm focusing on ensuring that my little one experiences minimal or no difficulties. I'm diligently pumping and storing enough milk for her, so she'll have nourishment during my absence. Additionally, I introduced solids at six months, ensuring she has a meal and some milk to sustain her while I'm away. My goal is to provide the best care for her even when we're apart.

I hope you won't miss Mama too much, even though Mama will miss you dearly and constantly think about you, my sweetest Kiara.

Packing your hospital Bag

Dear mommies, As our due date approaches, our emotions are a mix of tension, confusion, and excitement as we eagerly await the arrival of our little one. To ease this journey, I have compiled a wish list of the items I have purchased for both myself and the baby, which I have attached here. I hope that sharing this list, it will assist many other mothers who are currently preparing their hospital bags. With the overwhelming amount of content available on the internet, I am confident that these suggestions will help you pack your bag more efficiently. Regarding clothes, I primarily made offline purchases and also utilized items from my nephews, so I haven't included an extensive list of clothing here. Additionally, I recommend checking out Superbottoms, and I have provided the link for your convenience. Superbottoms -  Cloth Diapers (UNO) & Langot  I stocked up around 12 - 15 diapers which used to be over within 3 to 5 hours of baby's awake time :) I have created an Amazon...

Hello World - From Mommy & Kiara

Embarking on the journey of motherhood with my daughter Kiara, I am eager to share the precious moments and lessons learned along the way. Join me as I open my heart and reflect upon the incredible experiences I've had with my little one. I will soon be introducing solid foods to my baby, and I'm currently taking notes so that I can provide assistance to other new mothers out there as well. This is my first post, I will be writing more soon.  Stay tuned. Love, Mommy & Kia
